Dear Rahulji,
I am writing about the problem of those old parents in villages whose sons and daughters have gone on jobs leaving them alone. Mostly such children are in Government jobs and paying income taxes. In many many cases and odd situations they are not able to take care of old poor parents regularly. I know no such law that may help old parents can be passed also. To keep old Bhartiya tradition like the case ofg 'Shravan Kumar' Government may provide means of help to such parents by giving releif in income tax in name of Shravan Kumar Tax releif (100% category) up to a limit of 30-40,000 in the coming budget.
